Literacy Redefined

Literacy Redefined is the application of the research to any district provided curriculum.

Literacy Redefined is a 5 day course designed specifically for classroom teachers.

Teachers bring their district provided curriculums to this synchronized class. Teachers are taught how to identify and dissect each Structured Literacy component for any curriculum. Classroom teachers will extract the key components as we learn them, then peer teach colleagues each key component, and plan whole lessons with said district provided curriculum.

Our experience sets us apart! Our Structured Literacy experts not only hold a current Kansas teaching license, but have also worked as classroom teachers in both public and private schools all throughout the midwest. Our instructors have a combined experience of working with every grade from Kindergarten through 8th grade as a classroom teacher and/or Intervention Specialist. Our instructors, continue to work in the field with students, implementing these evidence-based strategies every day.

This curriculum agnostic program allows teachers to move from district to district within any state as well as move between all grade levels of licensure.
